Selecting A CPA Offer And Things To Consider When Reviewing A Landing Page

by Kari Wallace No Comments »

When reviewing CPA Offers there is a lot more to consider than just the payout. For this post we will be taking a closer look at Landing Pages. A landing page will make or break your profits. You can send traffic to an offer all day, but if it doesn’t convert then you’ll be left empty handed.

The first things to look at are:

  • Is the page clear and easy to follow?
  • Are there a lot of fields to fill in that might deter your prospect from completing the form? (A good general rule is 5 or less fields. This isn’t something set in stone though.)
  • Are the form fields above the fold? (Above the fold is a common expression used to describe the screen you see without having to scroll down the page.)
  • Are there clear instructions including a call to action?

Important landing page elements to look closely at when evaluating an offer include:

The Headline
The most critical part of the page. It should pull the prospect in by appealing to the emotional element related to the product or service being offered. People are more motivated by emotion then logic so that is where the headline’s focus should be.

Clarity
Clean design with clear, easy to read text. The design should look nice, but not distracting. If there are any images they should be highly focused on the product or benefit and not distracting.

Relevance
Make sure that what the prospect gets matches up with the ad, banner or link they used to get to the landing page. This is especially important if you are using a paid traffic source like Pay-Per-Click. PPC is a form of traffic that charges you for every click you get. In order to pre-qualify your traffic you should make sure that they click on a banner or link that clearly tells them what the offer is related to.

Scarcity
Believe it or not, Fear of loss will get action before any perceived gains. So if you can find an offer that provides some sort of fear of loss then you will be more likely to get conversions. This can include a limited number of available items or a time limit for when the offer expires.

Social Proof
Customer testimonials provide what is called social proof. This shows that other people have used and benefited from the product. Celebrity endorsements also add an additional level of credibility where available.

Call To Action
Most importantly the page needs to tell potential visitors exactly what to do and how to do it. This should be above the fold as mentioned.

Although these items should help you when selecting a CPA offer to promote. The best way to truly find what works and what doesn’t is to split-test. Something that works great in one niche may not convert at all in another niche.

Find Out How To Break Into A Highly Profitable Niche Today…

by Kari Wallace 2 Comments »

Working with and learning from all the massively successful internet marketers has shown me the proof I needed to know just how profitable it is to market virtual businesses on the internet. That is why I have to let you in on a secret I just found out about. You aren’t limited to online businesses, it is just as profitable and easy to use internet marketing techniques for offline businesses also!

The main reason for this is because offline business owners are seeing the possibilities of the internet. They are anxious to build a presence on the web, but have no idea how to do that. They are not aware of how profitable this market can be and how to take advantage of this free marketing avenue, which brings increased sales and profit for them.

We, as internet marketers, have an opportunity to show them the tricks of the trade. Keeping in mind that when they know nothing anything you can show them that generates business without creating a massive marketing bill is going to interest them. Any semi-successful business is already familiar for various marketing techniques and are likely spending huge amounts of money on their marketing.

Using Internet marketing, they can save while we earn!

Most business owners have no idea how much cheaper and profitable internet marketing can be. In most cases the local niches for offline businesses haven’t been touched. They are easy to rank high in with little effort. Instead of spending money printing coupons, we can teach the offline business owners how to use online coupon companies for free. And instead of getting listed in the yellow pages, we just have to show them the global audience the business gets by listing their business in online yellow pages and directory sites.

We can also teach workshops to show them all there is to internet marketing and earn money charging the seminar fee and gain customers as they see the potential in internet marketing. Many will be too busy or technically challenged to run their own online marketing plans. You can help the business owners setup blogs, manage them by adding fresh content on a regular basis, and by starting an e-newsletter for interested people to sign up for.

So you can see that by offering our internet marketing skills to offline businesses, not only do these businesses flourish, we can also earn a a lot of money through their internet marketing.

There are more tips and techniques to learn by implementing internet marketing techniques in offline businesses. This is why I highly recommend you download this free report called Easy Offline Cash. It discusses everything about using internet marketing techniques in offline business. If you care at all about making more money with internet marketing, you will at least download and read the report, it’s free!

Review of the Clickbank (CB) Pirate Program

by Kari Wallace 3 Comments »

Clickbank Pirate is an interesting product that fills many of the gaps found in other internet marketing products. When you purchase this product you get immediate access to a proven money making system. This comes with many parts already in place for promoting up to 5 different systems with 1 additional set of promotional tools each month.

Any good system needs to have an autoresponder account, squeeze page, thank you/download page, graphics to give the pages a professional look and feel. Is your head spinning yet? Well, that’s not all. There’s more.

You would also need preloaded emails, something to give people of value for them to give you their contact information. And of course a product to offer on the backend for sale with a professionally written sales letter.

Coming up with all these pieces can be daunting task. You need to hire a writer, graphic designer, web programmer, and purchase resale rights to a product or create a valuable product using even more costly resources.

Clickbank Pirate gives you all this in a single package. They choose high-converting sales pages using products found on clickbank. They create squeeze pages for you including a free report to provide to your prospects. They also load and manage a list for you sending them more information related to the main product as well as other Clickbank products related to the one they signed up for.

I have bought into many internet marketing programs. Several of them have been good products, but I still had trouble getting all the pieces together and functioning. When I found CB Pirate I just had to try it.

I immediately started seeing results and only a week in I have a doubled my list and made real profit.

Since I have only barely started traffic generating I can’t wait to see my profit in a month. Best of all they will continue sending relevant offers and information advertising Clickbank products using YOUR affiliate id to the people on your list as long as you are an active cb pirate. You could continue making profits off the same person months or even years after they sign up. This gets the most out of your advertising dollars.

3 Problems with CB Pirate

by Kari Wallace 3 Comments »

I bought into the CB Pirate or Clickbank Pirate hype and I want to share my experience with it. My goal is to make this an honest review. I purchased a much more expensive program a few months ago and was extremely upset with what I got. I don’t want other people to feel ripped off the way I did, so I want to give you all the facts so you know what you are getting into if you decide to get this product.

Clickbank Pirate is great for someone with a list to promote online income generating opportunities and it also works well for someone just getting started.

I am in a position where I don’t have the resources to put together a phenomenal product, follow-up campaign, generate traffic, create graphics, sales pages, thank you pages, blah blah blah. Sure I have the ability to do all that, but the time and money hasn’t been there for me.

I found cb pirate and realized right away that it has flaws. On the other hand it has everything I was lacking for a profitable program and I could start making money on day one. I’m not going to bore you with the sales pitch – you can get that here.

There are 3 problems with this program and I think they can all be worked around.

1 – You are growing Soren Jordansen & Cindy Battye’s list.
If you are in any kind of internet marketing then you should know that your list is your goldmine. So if you spend all your efforts growing someone else’s list then you are ripping yourself off. That being said they addressed this problem right away by saying that all emails sent out would have your affiliate links. They will continue to promote to “your” list for as long as you are a member of CB Pirate. This is great for getting started, but they also provide some auto responder messages. I would recommend that if you have about $19 a month for an aweber or other autoresponder account then you should consider that.

Work on your own capture page, fill the autoresponder and grow your own list. In the meantime you can use theirs so you don’t have to waste any time learning how to set that up before you can start making money if you don’t want to.

2. Reporting – The reports aren’t detailed enough for good statistics. You do get a report that says how many clicks and how many conversions you have had. This doesn’t give you the information that I think you need to know if people are unsubscribing or if they are checking their emails. You can use clickbank to see if people are at least going to your order form and of course if they are making any purchases. You can add a code at the end of your link to at least track how different campaigns are doing.

3 – The biggest problem is that all the products appear to be online money making opportunities. Although there is money in this niche, it is HIGHLY competitive and it would be nice explore other niches. This could change in the coming months as new products are released. I have sent in support tickets to ask for upgrade options with no success.

There are a lot of great bonuses for purchasing the product and I love that it comes with the squeeze page, thank you page, free report, graphics, emails, popups, twitter posts, and several other great tools.

You really only have to drive traffic to your squeeze pages to start seeing results. Not as easy as it sounds, but WAY easier then having to fit all the other pieces together along with getting traffic.

Good luck to you if you are considering cb pirate or whatever you decide to go with. I would love to hear your comments about the product. You can also check out the warrior forum to find out more. This is a great forum for any internet marketer.

These can be good programs, but you also don’t want to waste a lot of time trying to sift through website after website to find the one for you. A great affiliate program can help you sift through the mountains of data and get right to the details an affiliate marketer cares about. Affiliate programs consolidate company information and manage money distributions for multiple companies. It reduces the headache of trying to search through website after website to find an affiliate option for you. Not to mention it also means less websites and logins to remember for each company you become an affiliate with.

What are the features of a great affiliate program?

Offer high commissions – This shows that companies believe in the program and are willing to give a bigger share of the profits for the reduced hassle an affiliate program offers them and because they know companies know that the bigger the reward the more motivated affiliates will be to sell their products.

Marketing Tools – great affiliate programs should offer some marketing tools. These could include articles, blog posts, autoresponder messages, keyword research, traffic reporting, and graphics to use in your promotions. Not all affiliate programs come with the items above, but the more they offer the better easier they should be to promote. Obviously the quality of the material will be important too. Take a look at what you can to decide to whether the quality is there or not. Some affiliate programs will even offer website templates, free content,  along with information about the specific niche the offers fall in.

Training - This is especially important for anyone new to the affiliate arena. You need to know what you can and can’t do and the right way to do things for return. Just because you think you know how to do something doesn’t mean there isn’t a better way. Just keep that in mind before you blow by valuable training opportunities.

There is no finite answer or magic button to bring in the affiliate cash. Just work at it and take advantage of the tools and training you can find. Great affiliate programs will definitely help you on the path to financial independence. They should convert well and spend a little time reading up on good sales letters. The more you learn about good sales letters the better you will be at recognizing an product you could make money off of.

Take a look at Clickbank and MoreNiche as possible affiliate options. They offer great affiliate programs with lots of support and products to choose from.

You may also want to look into CB Pirate if you are in the making money from home niche. They have a great program with everything already setup for you. What is Affiliate Marketing?

by Kari Wallace 3 Comments »

The short answer is leverage…

Are you looking to make money online, but have no idea where to start because you do not have a product or service to offer?

Good News! With affiliate marketing you can leverage the efforts of others and market their products.

As an affiliate, you will market the product or service of another marketer, and in return you will receive a commission on the amount of the sale you make. The commission’s can be as low as 10% or as much as 100% of the sale. This depends on the terms offered by the product owner.

Product owners will (in most cases) provide you with everything you need to get started selling their products online. They handle everything from providing the product or service, to processing the sale, and they will even handle all of the customer service.

When you get started as an affiliate of a product, they will provide you with a link that you can start using in your marketing efforts. Whenever a customer clicks on your link it sends them to the sales page associated with your affiliate ID so you get credit.

In most cases the link will be their main web address with a slash and your affiliate id. This allows them to track what affiliate sent the customer to the site, then that affiliate receives credit for the sale, and gets the commission.

The sales page for the product you become a affiliate will often include some sort of free offer to try to get the contact info of the person visiting the site even if they decide not to buy. But keep in mind that in most cases this contact information is going into someone else’s auto responder and you will not have access to it.

This is alright to get your started, but if you are want to make real money then you need to get your auto responder and start growing your own list. I’ll cover that more in another article.

Now a few of the things that good affiliate opportunities should provide you are:

  1. Stats on web traffic and conversion rates
  2. High-converting sales page
  3. Good customer service
  4. High value for the product cost
  5. A variety of materials to help your marketing efforts (banners, prewritten articles, prewritten emails, graphics)

Some affiliates will offer more tools than others, but before you sign up with any affiliate, you should make sure that they at least have a quality product for you to offer. If you start marketing a low quality product it could give you a bad name.

How do you get started as an affiliate?

Becoming an affiliate is easier than you think. You can find plenty of affiliate opportunities if you type in affiliate in a search engine of your choice. You will probably have the best luck if you choose products in similar categories. Focus your attention on a single niche while you get started. Choose a niche that you already know a lot about or want to learn about.

There are also affiliate services that allow product owners to list their products and set up affiliate terms for a percentage of the profits. Some popular services are Clickbank and Commission Junction. With these services you quickly can setup an account for free and search through a very large pool of affiliate opportunities.

Keep in mind that although you don’t usually have to buy a product to become an affiliate you may want to consider it. Credibility is very important for online profits and as mentioned above, if you put your name on bad products then customers won’t be coming back to you. You may want to consider reading customer reviews online also.

One thing you may want to consider also is gathering names through your own capture page and then to your affiliate sales page. This way you will be building your list even if they do not end up buying from you.

You can create a set of related affiliate products and as you send out emails to your list you can include affiliate links throughout your messages. This way you get more value out of each potential customer.

This strategy can be used on websites and blogs also. Provide content around a particular topic and ad affiliate links where they are make sense.

10 Top Blog Formatting Tips

by Kari Wallace 1 Comment »

Have you ever clicked on a link to read an article or opened a book and found that you just couldn’t bring yourself to read it? That’s probably because it wasn’t formatted to be easily read.

There are some general rules you should consider when writing a blog post. Obviously informative content is a key piece to your success, but it also has to be easy to read.

People are in a rush to get the information they want and move on. Everyone has a very busy life and if they are taking time to read your blog, you owe them to make the post readable. By the way, thanks for reading my blog.

So here are some tips for formatting a blog post:

1. Use lists – A list will allow readers to skim through the content and easily get what they want.

2. Text Decoration – The proper use of bold, underline, and colored text can help make a page easy to read. Use formatting to draw attention to important words or phrases, don’t use it so much that it distracts from the message.

3. Colors – Use limited colors. Too many will take away from the post. Make sure to use contrasting colors so that it is easy to read.

4. White Space – Don’t be afraid to use spacing between paragraphs or images. A little space can be easier on the reader’s eye and keep them around longer.

5. Dark Text on Light Background – Studies have shown that even though you can read light text on black background it is hard to keep someone’s interest. The dark background might look cool, but for reading it can make a person tired and be difficult to keep in focus. (Light Text on Dark Background Poll)

6. Animated Graphics – This is a tough one. Although a great way to draw attention to a particular area of the page it can also add stress on the eyes and distract from the rest of the page.

7.  On-Screen Fonts – The font is important. Verdana and Georgia fonts are recommended for screen reading. You should also go with 12pt or slightly larger.

8. Headings – Use headings to break up sections. Use white space and text decoration to make the headings pop out on the page.

9. Short Paragraphs – Short paragraphs allow for quick scanning.

10. Short Sentences – People can read short sentences easier. Make sure to avoid college writing. Write your blog post like you are having a conversation with someone. There are even a few services you can sign up for to call and make a recording. The recording is then turned into an email and sent to you. What better way to make it sound like a conversation then to actually make it one? I will be checking these services over the next couple of weeks and I’ll post a review.

Original Web Content: What’s the Point?

by Kari Wallace 3 Comments »

The web can be used to find useful and entertaining information on pretty much any topic you are interested in. This is one of the things that make the internet so appealing to a never ending supply of customers.

Many website owners are desperate for content and just copy content from other sites or books. By doing this they are missing out on a lot of opportunity. There are plenty of reasons why original content is important and critical to the success of your web page or blog.

Some of the top reasons you want original content are:

  • Search Engine Ranking: If your content isn’t original then most search engines will penalize you. Search Engines can provide valuable free traffic, so you lose a lot if you don’t take the time to create original content.
  • Interest: To really create a loyal following you need to show people who you are. By writing your own copy you can add in things specific to you. If people can relate to who you are then they will be much more interested in what you have to say.
  • Credibility: You build credibility in your name if you are offering valuable, original content to readers. The readers will be more likely to listen to what you have to say. Let’s face it most people aren’t creating web copy just for fun they also want to make a profit. If people aren’t reading what you write then there is no chance you are making any real profit from it.

Coming up with original content does take more time and effort, but the rewards are well worth it. Increased readership and more search engine traffic can be a huge benefit that will make up for the extra hassle of using your own content. Writing your own content also gives you a way to find out more about the topic your content focuses on. Hopefully you have picked a topic that actually interests you.

There is a lot more to consider when writing web content. More to come on that in future posts…

Four Golden Rules of List Building

by Kari Wallace 1 Comment »

There are many sources and articles in the internet available for everyone to read and follow in building a list. Sometimes they may be confusing because there are so many and there different ways. Different groups of people would have different approaches in building an opt-in list, but no matter how diverse many methods are, there are always some crucial things to do to build your list.

Here are the four rules that you should have in mind when building your first (or the next) list:

Strategy #1:  Put up a good web form in your site that immediately follows the end of your content. While some may say this is too soon to subscribe for a website visitors application, try to remember that your homepage should provide a quick good impression. If somehow a website visitor finds something that he or she doesn’t like and turns them off, they may just forget about signing up.

A good web form for subscribing to an opt-in list is not hard to do. Just write a simple short statement about how they would like to see more and get updated about the site. Then there should be an area where they could put in their names and e-mail address. This web form will automatically save and send you the data’s inputted. As more people sign in, your list will be growing.

Strategy #2: As mentioned in the first tip, make your homepage very, very impressive. You need to have well written articles and descriptions of your site. Depending on what your site is all about, you need to capture your website visitor’s fancy. Make your site useful and very easy to use. Do not expect everyone to be tech savvy. Invest in having good programming in your site, make your graphics beautiful but don’t over do it.

Don’t waste your time making the homepage too overly large megabyte wise. Not all people have dedicated T1 connections, the faster your site gets loaded, the better. Go for a look that borders between simplicity and sophisticated knowledge.

Strategy #3: Provide good service and products. A return customer is more likely to bring in more business. Even then and now, a satisfied customer will recommend a business always. Word of mouth and recommendations alone can rake in more business than an expensive ad. As your clientele roster grows so shall your list. With more members on the list, the more people will get to know about what you have new to offer.

Strategy #4: Keep a clean and private list. Never lose the trust your customers have entrusted you. If you provide e-mails to others and they get spammed, many will probably unsubscribe to you. Remember, a good reputation will drive in more traffic and subscribers as well as strengthen the loyalty of your customers.

I hope these four powerful strategies will help you in some ways!

Grab Top Notch Resell Rights Products From Search Engines

by Kari Wallace 2 Comments »

If you want to really set yourself apart from the rest of the would be marketers trying to make their way in the world by reselling E-Books and private label articles that they found on various websites, you need to learn to branch out and take advantage of your researching skills.

Sure, you can make life easy for yourself and join all kinds of different paid membership website – and that is a great way to get started as a web marketer – but if you really want to kick your business into high gear (and high profits) you need to take advantage of the search engines.

Now, it can be quite difficult for people to master using a search engine because often we do not really know what to look for.

You can start by typing in Resell Rights or something of that nature, but all you will end up with is a list of hundreds of thousands of different websites all trying to make a buck off of you. Therefore you need to learn to be much more specific with your searches if you hope to get anything done.

You can keep using Resell Rights as your basic keyword. Heck, you should even put that phrase in quotations so that the search engine you are using will bundle those two words together – then add on some extra words to focus the results that you get. Want to deal in E-Books?

Make your keyword “Resell Rights” E-Books and see what you come up with. Are private label rights products more to your liking? Add “private label” to your search string.

Did you happen to read about a particular product that sounded interesting but you completely forgot what it was called? Even something that has escaped your memory is easy to find as long as you remember the rough genre.

Just add the genre and the type of product to your basic “Resell Rights” search string and you will find it in no time flat.

So, are you looking for high quality resell rights products? Look no more!I’d like to introduce to you, the Instant Product GoldMine.

In this Instant Product Goldmine membership, members have access to over a hundred top notch Internet Marketing products and titles that you can resell and keep the sales for your own.
