Review of the Clickbank (CB) Pirate Program

by Kari Wallace 3 Comments »

Clickbank Pirate is an interesting product that fills many of the gaps found in other internet marketing products. When you purchase this product you get immediate access to a proven money making system. This comes with many parts already in place for promoting up to 5 different systems with 1 additional set of promotional tools each month.

Any good system needs to have an autoresponder account, squeeze page, thank you/download page, graphics to give the pages a professional look and feel. Is your head spinning yet? Well, that’s not all. There’s more.

You would also need preloaded emails, something to give people of value for them to give you their contact information. And of course a product to offer on the backend for sale with a professionally written sales letter.

Coming up with all these pieces can be daunting task. You need to hire a writer, graphic designer, web programmer, and purchase resale rights to a product or create a valuable product using even more costly resources.

Clickbank Pirate gives you all this in a single package. They choose high-converting sales pages using products found on clickbank. They create squeeze pages for you including a free report to provide to your prospects. They also load and manage a list for you sending them more information related to the main product as well as other Clickbank products related to the one they signed up for.

I have bought into many internet marketing programs. Several of them have been good products, but I still had trouble getting all the pieces together and functioning. When I found CB Pirate I just had to try it.

I immediately started seeing results and only a week in I have a doubled my list and made real profit.

Since I have only barely started traffic generating I can’t wait to see my profit in a month. Best of all they will continue sending relevant offers and information advertising Clickbank products using YOUR affiliate id to the people on your list as long as you are an active cb pirate. You could continue making profits off the same person months or even years after they sign up. This gets the most out of your advertising dollars.

What is Affiliate Marketing?

by Kari Wallace 3 Comments »

The short answer is leverage…

Are you looking to make money online, but have no idea where to start because you do not have a product or service to offer?

Good News! With affiliate marketing you can leverage the efforts of others and market their products.

As an affiliate, you will market the product or service of another marketer, and in return you will receive a commission on the amount of the sale you make. The commission’s can be as low as 10% or as much as 100% of the sale. This depends on the terms offered by the product owner.

Product owners will (in most cases) provide you with everything you need to get started selling their products online. They handle everything from providing the product or service, to processing the sale, and they will even handle all of the customer service.

When you get started as an affiliate of a product, they will provide you with a link that you can start using in your marketing efforts. Whenever a customer clicks on your link it sends them to the sales page associated with your affiliate ID so you get credit.

In most cases the link will be their main web address with a slash and your affiliate id. This allows them to track what affiliate sent the customer to the site, then that affiliate receives credit for the sale, and gets the commission.

The sales page for the product you become a affiliate will often include some sort of free offer to try to get the contact info of the person visiting the site even if they decide not to buy. But keep in mind that in most cases this contact information is going into someone else’s auto responder and you will not have access to it.

This is alright to get your started, but if you are want to make real money then you need to get your auto responder and start growing your own list. I’ll cover that more in another article.

Now a few of the things that good affiliate opportunities should provide you are:

  1. Stats on web traffic and conversion rates
  2. High-converting sales page
  3. Good customer service
  4. High value for the product cost
  5. A variety of materials to help your marketing efforts (banners, prewritten articles, prewritten emails, graphics)

Some affiliates will offer more tools than others, but before you sign up with any affiliate, you should make sure that they at least have a quality product for you to offer. If you start marketing a low quality product it could give you a bad name.

How do you get started as an affiliate?

Becoming an affiliate is easier than you think. You can find plenty of affiliate opportunities if you type in affiliate in a search engine of your choice. You will probably have the best luck if you choose products in similar categories. Focus your attention on a single niche while you get started. Choose a niche that you already know a lot about or want to learn about.

There are also affiliate services that allow product owners to list their products and set up affiliate terms for a percentage of the profits. Some popular services are Clickbank and Commission Junction. With these services you quickly can setup an account for free and search through a very large pool of affiliate opportunities.

Keep in mind that although you don’t usually have to buy a product to become an affiliate you may want to consider it. Credibility is very important for online profits and as mentioned above, if you put your name on bad products then customers won’t be coming back to you. You may want to consider reading customer reviews online also.

One thing you may want to consider also is gathering names through your own capture page and then to your affiliate sales page. This way you will be building your list even if they do not end up buying from you.

You can create a set of related affiliate products and as you send out emails to your list you can include affiliate links throughout your messages. This way you get more value out of each potential customer.

This strategy can be used on websites and blogs also. Provide content around a particular topic and ad affiliate links where they are make sense.
